He has worked as oenologist not only in wineries of the wider region of Thiva but also in wineries of Nemea and Santorini. Gregory Vrettos also assisted the laboratory of Indevin winery in New Zealand during the harvest of 2012 and 2013. Working in these wineries he gained the suitable experience and knowledge in order to perform the research and analysis during the production of high-quality wine.
Gregory Vrettos has also many years of experience in the sector of sampling, methods of measurement, chemical analysis in completely automated and non-automated equipment. In order to be up to date with the evolution of the wine and other chemical analyses such as water and waste water, olive oil and soil .Gregory has participated in seminars of sampling and winetasting in the WSPC.
In the past He has served as the person in charge of communication of the Union Wine producers of Central Greece. He has also realised visits in a lot of international fair such as ProWein, London Wine Fair, Simei, Vinitech and other, aiming always in following-up the development on the technology of wine but also marketing wine of collaborators abroad. He has received several awards and positive reports for his work in the sector.
